Scott Nagle has been Hollywood Golf Club's Director of Tennis since 2012. He has served as a tennis professional in Carmel Valley, California, Hawaii, Minnesota, and Oregon; as well as Australia and Europe. He has also served as a Tennis Director in the Northeast since 2000. A native of Oregon, Nagle competed as the number-one seed in high school and led his team to the state championships tournament two years in a row. He also competed for the University of Oregon tennis team, and while teaching in Australia, played for the University of Sydney while running a tennis certification testing program and tennis school in Australia. Nagle has been teaching and coaching tennis since 1987 and was the Head Certification Tester for the NSWPTCA in Australia and a The Head Certification Tester for the USPTA in the Pacific Northwest, where he won the USPTA PNW's Tester of the Year Award. He is a certified USPTA P1 Professional, a USTA High Performance Coach, a NSWPTCA I & II, and a former college tennis coach at The University of Pittsburgh a top tier Division I school competiting in the Big East Conference.. He is also a USRSA certified racket technician and continues his education at some of the world's finest seminars: ITF conferences, USPTA conventions, and USTA High-Performance training.
